Cristiano Ronaldo became the star of the friendly match between Real Madrid against Mexican club, Chivas Guadalajara yesterday (20/7). He scored a hat-trick, and ended the match with 0-3 for Real Madrid victory.
Jose Mourinho was surprisingly plays Kaka, goal keeper Antonio Adan, defender Raphael Varane and winger Fabio Coentrao as starters. Apparently the result was far from the expectation, since until the first half ended, no goals created from both sides.
The first goal has not been created before the late second half. In 73 minutes, Ronaldo finally broke the deadlock, and fired a shot through a close range, using a bait from Benzema. A minute later, Ronaldo almost scored another goal, but unfortunately the ball hit the goalpost.
He then scored the second goal from a penalty spot in minute 76th, after the referee awarded Pepe who got tripped in a penalty box by Chivas defender, Mario de Luna. And not for long until Ronaldo made the third goal in minute 82nd. The goal came from Ozil’s clever assist, which Ronaldo quickly turn into a fast shot, that failed to anticipate by Chivas goalkeeper.
The 3 goals from Ronaldo wrapped the match with 3 goals difference, just like when they beat LA Galaxy with 4-1 last week.
